The Arizona Office of Problem Gambling Treatment Assistance Program is available for family members and others affected by someone else’s gambling problem, as well as for gamblers.
The Office of Problem Gambling was established by the Department of Gaming after the passage of a general election proposition in 2002 mandating: “Two percent [of the tribal contributions made to the Arizona Benefits Fund], shall be used by the Department of Gaming to fund state and local programs for the prevention and treatment of, and education concerning, problem gambling.”
